The standard is not what the law requires. The standard is what your skin deserves. Every decision we make is guided by one question: is this truly the best we can do?
Evidence-led actives
We only include actives with peer-reviewed evidence, at concentrations shown to produce measurable results in a finished formula. If the data does not exist, the ingredient does not either.
Clean formulation
Free from synthetic fragrance, PEGs, parabens, sulphates, and silicones. Every ingredient earns its place. None are fillers, and none are there to perform on the label rather than on skin.
Full transparency
Complete INCI lists on every product. No proprietary blends used to obscure concentrations. No borrowed science cited without finished-formula substantiation.
Responsible packaging
Glass bottles, recycled PCR caps, minimal secondary packaging. We are working toward a fully refillable model — because the product should outlast the container it came in.

| Animal testing | Never. Our supply chain partners are contractually required to uphold the same standard. There are no exceptions for raw material suppliers. |
| Synthetic fragrance | Zero. Fragrance is the leading cause of cosmetic sensitisation — it adds nothing to a formula's function and introduces unnecessary risk. We use none. |
| Ingredient sourcing | We prefer COSMOS-certified organic or sustainably wildcrafted materials where they are available and offer comparable performance to conventional alternatives. |
| Stability testing | All formulas undergo 12-month accelerated stability testing before launch. A product that degrades before its expiry date is not an acceptable product. |
| Independent dermatologist review | Every formula is reviewed by an independent consultant dermatologist prior to manufacture. The review is independent — the dermatologist is not affiliated with the brand. |
| Regulatory compliance | Fully compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009 and UK Cosmetics Regulation SI 2020/1682. Products are notified through CPNP before EU market entry. |
| Claims integrity | Every claim is substantiated by finished-formula testing, not extrapolated from ingredient studies. If we cannot demonstrate it, we do not say it. |
